Experimental animation - Research, Part 2

 Stuffed

Stuffed is an animation that was just recently realized by Supinfocom Rubika. It already has won a number of rewords. it's a fantastic animation that is beautifully styled and the 3D models and how they are all textured are fantastic. I wouldn't even know how to start in creating something that detailed but I want to try in this unit! textures aren't something I mess around with and I want to try and make a character or object with fabric textures.

Another thing that really inspired me is the fire in the animation, how its 2D shapes in a stunning 3D animation give it an amazing contrast. not only does it look great but it just works so well with that ascetic of the animation and I really like how it looks.  I want to try and animate fire like this myself as a little experimentation and maybe even to 2, one in a 3D software and on a frame by frame 2D animation and see how they compare.

These three characters will resemble my fire team form the game destiny, Me and my two friends. The character below is my character and you can see that although it is pixel art, it shares no characteristics from the last design, they are all going to be completely different and i cannot wait to see how all three compare to each other once they are finished. As for my dragon, i was able to add a lot more detail to both the horns and face. I even added an additional two horns to bring the character more to life and give him a more interesting silhouette. As you can see the character also has antlers and wisps coming from his chin, this was heavily inspired from Haku the white dragon from the Studio Ghibli movie 'Spirited Away.' Although I te...
