Live Brief: Mary Poppins Pantomime (FINISHED)

Hi everyone, this week i was finally able to finish my live brief, a few days ago sent of my scene for my tutor to render it in Octane, and the results were phenomenal. I couldn't believe how good it looked when my tutor showed me the results. When we took it down to the performance academy and showed the client (other members of staff) the reaction was overwhelming, they all loved it and even gave me a round of applause for creating it. I couldn't believe what was happening at the time, I am a shy person naturally so getting been given a round applause made my whole face whole read, luckily for me I was in the projection room screening the scene so they couldn't see me...I think. Additionally, me and my tutor where also allowed to present our work to them via a screening, we sat in the projection room, and projected it to a screen that was about 15 times the size of me, and I am six foot tall. The reaction that they had towards the scene was overwhelming and ill never forget it. Overall this live brief was a joy to create, I enjoyed every moment of if. In total there was about five other students working on this project, i was in charge of the 3D aspect, but there was also people who worked on the opening cinematic and credit sequence. I hope they all had as much fun on this project as I did. To me, this was an honor to do and i cannot thank my tutor enough for trusting me with such a task. Below you can see the end credits which me and a few other students worked on, the part that i worked on plays when the carnival appears, however i cannot take full credit as my tutor did render the scene and add the air balloons at the end as if it wasn't for his extremely powerful computer it may have not rendered in time. Nerveless, I hope you all enjoy it!

Pixel Art and Zbrush Dragon Progress Update:

Over the past week i have made significant progress throughout both of my chosen subjects, Zbrush and Pixel art. Ad for my pixel art characters, i have decided to create three characters that are all completely different from each other. These three characters will resemble my fire team form the game destiny, Me and my two friends. The character below is my character and you can see that although it is pixel art, it shares no characteristics from the last design, they are all going to be completely different and i cannot wait to see how all three compare to each other once they are finished. As for my dragon, i was able to add a lot more detail to both the horns and face. I even added an additional two horns to bring the character more to life and give him a more interesting silhouette. As you can see the character also has antlers and wisps coming from his chin, this was heavily inspired from Haku the white dragon from the Studio Ghibli movie 'Spirited Away.' Although I te...
