In a few days the new Doom game (Doom Eternal) will be releasing on all game platforms and as a bug fan of the game I thought I would create a VFX shot that relates to it. I thought this would be a good idea as I have pre-ordered the collectors edition of the game which includes the Doom Slayer helmet. This will be an amazing Prop to use within my VEX work, I went to check my pre-order today and I was even able to try on the helmet (image below). From now until I am able to pick up my helmet I will be researching into different ideas that would be suitable for a Doom related VFX shot. Once I have an idea on what to create I am going to start immediately so you guys will not have long to wait. Ill see you in a few days and Ill hopefully have my final experiment finished!

As you can see the character also has antlers and wisps coming from his chin, this was heavily inspired from Haku the white dragon from the Studio Ghibli movie 'Spirited Away.' Although I te...
